I'd like to say that I am very pleased with the services provided by Mid-Atlantic Waterproofing. In 2011, my basement flooded as a result of hurricane Irene. Although it was only several inches of water, my carpeting was ruined and my walls were damaged. Before I could fully refinish my basement, I knew I had to take steps to make sure my basement wouldn't sustain water damage again. I called on Mid-Atlantic. They thoroughly explained how and why water seeps into a home's basement and what I could do about it. I had the work scheduled and it was completed on schedule within a week. Mid-Atlantic’s waterproofing system works. I have seen heavy rains since Hurricane Irene, and I have had no more water seepage into my basement. I also have a Mid-Atlantic-installed battery backup sump pump. I have since refinished my basement, and I like that it stays dry now. Finally, I'd like to add that I've used Mid-Atlantic at two homes I've owned. I called the company the first time for my former residence in Hyattsville, MD (in 2007) and again for my current home in Bowie, MD (in 2011). Whereever I've lived, I got water in my basement nearly everytime it rained. So, being a two-time Mid-Atlantic customer I can definitely vouch for their service and professionalism.
