Businiess name:  Nyonya Grill

Review content:
I am extremely disappointed with Nyonya Grill. Its food used to be authentic Malaysia cuisine but not anymore. It has certainly gone downhill. During my most recent visit, I ordered the curry chicken (ayam) and found it to be bland and the meat not fully cooked. The assam ikan bilis was gluey and tasted like canned tomato sauce, a sign that Nyonya Grill is Americanizing its dishes. The most disgusting thing was spotting a strand of hair in one of the dishes. We were told that one of its chefs has left, and that?s probably why it could no longer produce authentic nyonya cuisine. We will definitely not return as there are better Malaysian restaurants along Bellaire Blvd. Pros: Ample parking space. Cons: It no longer serves authentic Asian cuisine. Food is Americanized and not in the least bit Asian.
