Review content:
I have been going to Nationwide for 20+ years and have written many reviews like this. I go to the trouble because their steakburger is absolutely one-of-a-kind. It is the biggest, fattest, juiciest, tastiest no-apology-offered hamburger anywhere. The fries are exquisite in their simplicity: potatoes hacked into about four or five slices and deep-fried to perfection. They are more like roasted potatoes, really. I have never had the steak sandwich or anything but the steak burger. I once dared to eat a double but it was way too much. And the shakes -- well, when you find chunks of actual peanuts at the bottom of your peanut butter shake, you know you are not at any chain restaurant. There is no effort made to persuade, spin or market to you. They just make the burgers and you buy them -- over and over again.
Pros: Excessively tasty, Excessively large, Excessively real
Cons: Fattening, High Cholesterol, Messier than hell
