Businiess name:  Wilson Air Conditioning

Review content:
Our upstairs air went out in June on a weekend so we were desperate. I don't know much about air conditioning units but it was still blowing, it was just blowing hot. I contacted the first service that was open on the weekend which was Wilson. They were prompt and after about 30 minutes or so of time in the attic and outside the tech determined that I needed an entire AC unit at $7,000. The unit is old so I wasn't too surprised.\r \r I double checked with another company on the following Monday just to be sure and he fixed the problem with my unit without even going into the attic which is where a portion of the unit is located (the Wilson guy spent a lot of time in the attic). The other tech said that ""anyone that has been in this business could look at your outside unit and see that this part was out"". He literally had it fixed and blowing cold within 20 minutes at a charge of $340. He also said my unit probably has about another two to three years or so, just depends.\r \r The tech that fixed the problem also told me to be aware of service people that are working on commission, they'll try to figure out any reason they can to get you into a new unit. He said he worked hourly so there was nothing in it for him to gain. I don't know if the Wilson tech was on commission or not, but he definitely wasn't knowledgeable. Pros: Open on Weekend Cons: Technician didn't know what he was doing
