I would second that opinion of Soft Coverings. I am as high as it gets on the clueless scale when it comes to upholstery and the guy at that shop gave me a first-class introduction and made me feel completely comfortable trying to pick fabrics to live with for many years to come. I tried other stores first, but always walked out in an overwhelmed stupor. "Soft Coverings" is down the street (Galer) from Trader Joes at the top of Queen Anne Hill - just turn left at the top of counterbalance hill.
Any recommendations on places to do the re-covering once the fabric is chosen?
