We usually use the Cozy Inn Pet Resort in Stahlstown, but it's a hike from Sewickley Heights and thought we'd give Lucky Paws a try. I reserved space for my two labs for 10 days in early February. Brought the vaccination record over and asked to see where my dogs would be staying. Girl at the desk, Allison, said no, she didn't have time. I explained that I had taken an hour out of my day and I just wanted to take one minute of her time (or someone else's if she was too busy) to have a peek. Kennels looked to be about 40 feet from the main reception area. Should not have been a problem. Plus, the place was quiet--no other customers and no dogs barking. And Allison was just sitting there telling me I couldn't have a look! I reminded her that I was about to drop $600 in her place and she said: ""Would you like me to cancel your reservation?"" I said yes and asked for the name and phone number of the owner, to which she answered, she couldn't give that to me. I mentioned that I think she'd like to know that she just lost the owner $600. People are crazy. Anyway, back to the Cozy Inn.
