I live right by this bakery and although I have gone to the alterations place right next door many times I have never really needed a special cake. I called Cake's Amore 2 days before my daughters second birthday, figuring I should use this specialty bakery instead of Safeway. I just told the lady on the phone,""how about chocolate cake and maybe some butterflies on top"".
When I picked it up, I was so shocked, it was the cutest kids cake I had ever seen. Creative and had all kinds of pretty butterflies on it both edible and for decoration. Every parent at the party was impressed and said it was the best cake ever. I will order from them every time and for every birthday my daughter has. I couldn't have been more happy with my experience.
