(Edited by author - The Cheshire Cat closed it's doors on 6/13/08)\r \r I have been to the Cheshire Cat several times (giving it several chances to redeem itself) but it has remained consistently bad.\r \r The beer is good, and they offer a choice of regular or cask brews, which is rare in the US (cask=not ice cold).\r \r Their food is average, the service extremely poor. tonight we waited 40 minutes for our food, and this after being told when we were seated a t 8pm that they were out of chicken, steak, sausage and butter.\r \r There is no English decor, and if it weren't for the beer, you would never know or figure out what kind of place this was supposed to be.\r \r They've recently cut their hours, and they are no longer open for lunch. They have also recently been closed on Sundays.\r \r The Chesire Cat could be a neat little british pub..but it isn't. Pros: You can get a seat at the bar almost any night o f the week, great beer Cons: Poor service, very poor management, not authentic
