This place is the bomb! I love buffets, and this one is super yummy. I dig the atmosphere too more

If you look at the dates of the bad reviews of Yak and Yeti, they are all from a few years ago. Back then, this location was the Cheshire Cat. I'm really not sure why the reviews for the previous restaurant are popping up for Yak and Yeti, aside from sharing the same brew pub. Regardless, now that this location is Yak and Yeti...its amazing!!! Seriously, the best Indian food I've had in the Denver area. The service is top notch as well. The servers are some of the sweetest waitstaff I've met. By the time you leave this place, you've got a full belly, a bag full of leftovers, and a smile on your face...NO DOUBT!! Great food at reasonable prices, quick and friendly service, and a unique location. My only complaint is that they kept the original brew pub downstairs when they switched over to an Indian restaurant. I understand this was probably a business deal, but the two just don't mesh together. Hearing live Irish music coming from downstairs while we are eating our Indian food...just seems odd. Other than that, this is a must try restaurant!! I've also eaten at Yak and Yeti's Westy location and, while they have a similar menu and same ownership, the Arvada location beats them hands down. more

I thought Arvada location had bad management also as per all the other review says, but it has been changed. Dol Bhattarai the owner is a good friend of mine, He managed to get great cure new management which makes the restaurant run a lot smother I believe compare to past. The food, old Victorian house, and the beer are always the plus point of this yak & yeti. I think its worth to give it a try now after my experience late night. more

i ate here on a late night, and the service and food were still great. there are things on the menu that you would only find at a british hole in the wall. the beer is awesome! my only complaint would be that a couple of the regulars are a bit smug. if you're going to hang out in the bar for just a couple beers, prepare to run in to people that act very territorial. Pros: great ambience, service, BEER! more

The Cat resides in a restored Queen Anne mansion on the north side of Ralston Road. I do enjoy their food, and they even have options that aren't deep fried. They brew their own, and the consistency varies a bit, but the British pub atmosphere is quiet and personable. Plus, you can buy a ""growler"" to go - a big glass container of your choice of brew that serves 4. They also have intimate live Celtic music sessions weekly. Pros: Decent beer and pub food more

This british pub sits on the historical site of Arvada's first Post Office. The decor is Victorian, with small seperate rooms of approimately 6 tables each. The menu features traditional british pub fare such as shepherd's pie, bangers & mash, fish & chips etc... all are generally good and relatively affordable. Recently, I tried their curry dish and it was surprisingly quite tasty. The Cheshire Cat brews several british style beers including an IPA, and Porter. I like the simple Pilsner to wash down my mushy peas (which are very good, by the way). They do have a small wine list, but beer is a better accompanyment for this type of food anyway. I can't say enough about the beer. Fantastic brews, and $2 pints from 9-11 pm every night. The atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired, the bar is strangely quiet and full of snotty people. I've been in several times, and never been able to get a seat at the bar because of large clique-ish groups. There's only 3 tables avail in the bar area, and they're all less than desireable. There is one waiter there that is a grouch! Food is expensive for what you get. Authentic British pub grub. Pros: great beer, good prices after 9p Cons: bar area sucks, too many snobs more
