After seeing all the recommendations on CitySearch, I called Carpet Dryclean to clean my carpet. They made an appointment and were actually 30 minutes late, but they called to let me know before the appointment time so it was no big deal. They were courteous and offered to demonstrate the process on my toughest stain before even giving me an estimate. They will move furniture if you choose, but they charge you by the square footage that they clean, not the square footage of the room, which is nice. They were more expensive than steam cleaners, but the process was completely dry (except for a little citrus spray they use on tough stains) and I could walk on the carpets as soon as they were done. Very good cleaning job. I'd recommend them.
