Review content:
I took my husband here for his birthday recently and was very impressed by everything, but especially the staff. I used OpenTable for the first time to book my reservation and was very pleased with the entire process. I called the restaurant to make sure they had all the information. They were friendly, considerate and very professional. They even called me the day before to reconfirm again. My special requests were handled very efficiently with no fuss. The food was nothing less than excellent. The mushroom/duck in puff pasty appetizer was delicious and flavorful. The buffalo short rib osso bucco was cooked to perfection--the meat falling off the bone. However, I didn't even approach finishing it...the portion was very large and I wanted to save room for a dessert. My husband enjoyed his English split pea soup, venison, and apple pie (more like a tart, actually). I ended the meal with the banana bread pudding and a nice coffee. Overall it was a wonderful experience. I highly recommend it for special occassions as it's a little beyond our ""everyday"" dining prices.
Pros: Wonderful staff, Great atmosphere
Cons: Valet only
