Our first visit to this restaurant was fine. Our second attempt was a complete disaster. \r \r I called the evening before Valentine's Day and was told they didn't accept reservations. I asked if we arrived at 5pm if he thought we could get a table. He said we should be fine. \r \r My husband and I got in line at 10 to 5pm. I went in and asked one hostess if there was a list or anything we needed to do. She replied that this hadn't happened before and to just wait in line. After waiting in line for ten\r minutes to enter the restaurant we were rudely turned away because we didn't have a reservation. I explained the situation to the woman (a different hostess) and she could have cared less. She didn't even pretend to care or be sorry. If we wouldn't have been told different stories, I would have happily sat at the bar. I couldn't believe how poorly this woman treated us. I have no plan to spend another penny at this restaurant. I do plan on calling and complaining to a manager though. \r \r It's really unfortunate because we live in the neighborhood. Laurelhurst Market should try not to upset it's locals and get their staff on the same page. Pros: The food Cons: Rude, a bit overpriced and unorganized staff
