Rented on a recommendation of a friend. \r

The apartment is spacious and located in downtown San Mateo. You can walk just about everywhere. I really enjoyed walking to the Central Park music series in the summer.\r

They've painted many of the doors/hallways and installed new locks on the doors. It's been a great improvement. In addition, there is a new apartment manager, Priscilla, who is sweet and helpful.\r

Also, it is a secured building, which has always made me feel quite safe. \r
\r
It is near CalTrain, the fire station and the hospital so it can be loud but it depends on what side of the building you are located.
Pros: spacious apartments, all utilities paid except phone/cable
