Review content:
I was in a friend's wedding recently and had a dress disaster. There was nothing I could do but frantically search for another dress the day of the wedding -- Note: I live four hours away from the wedding location.\r
I drove to three different malls in the area and stopped at David's Bridal in Florence, Ky., to find a black t-length dress, any kind of dress that fit. I was willing to pay any amount of money.\r
When I walked in, no one welcomed me or asked if I needed help. I just figured they were busy. I continued to look through their bridesmaid dress collection and still, no one helped me. I found a dress and took it to the front counter. There was a party up there checking out and shortly left the store. The associate at the counter didn't even make eye contact with me and walked right past me!!\r
So, I found a dressing room and tried the dress on. It didn't fit quite right and so I stood next to another associate who was helping someone at the time ... hoping to get a ""I'll be with you in just a moment.""\r
Nothing! She breezed right by me as if I didn't exist.\r
As the clock ticked, I was running out of time. I missed my hair appointment and was on the brink of a nervous breakdown.\r
I looked at several department stores, Macy's, Dillards, Sears and JCPenny. Nothing! I came up to the Dress Barn off of Turkeyfoot Road in Kentucky. Alas! As soon as I walked in, a warm voice asked ""Can I help you?""\r
I began telling her my story, but before I could finish, she asked how much time I had, my size, and a general idea of what I was looking for. The lady pulled every black t-length dress in my size and set up a dressing room for me.\r
I finally got help from a place I least expected. I'm not a normal shopper at the Dress Barn -- I had always thought that it was a store for older and mature women. Their dress were gorgeous and would work for anyone. They were beautiful and reasonably priced! I will definitely go back to Dress Barn.
Pros: Great service, nice selection, beautiful clothes, clean atmostphere
Cons: no cons here!
