I don't write many reviews, especially good ones. But, these guy were terrific-- professional, courteous, neat, fast- and they deserve credit for it.
I needed a new stereo for my Honda minivan. After an extremely frustrating visit to Best Buy (and several unanswered phone calls to their installer), I gave up on Best Buy.
There's a surprising concentration of car audio places along Route 25 in Centereach, and I pretty much picked Sound Trax at random. After my experience at Best Buy, I was wondering if I shouldn't make do with the old,busted stereo or figure out how to install one myself. Still, I gave it a try.
My experience at Sound Trax was great. Nobody tried to upsell me. Prices were good. Installation was excellent.
They said installation would take an hour. They started working on it exactly when they said they would, and it was done in 50 minutes. That includes taking time to sync my phone to the stereo's bluetooth and explaining to me how all of the different functions work.
I cannot recommend them highly enough. Really excellent.
