Review content:
This place is remarkable. In my opinion, it competes with the best Italian restaurants anywhere (better than Michael's in Apex). If you want true, down home Italian meals, then this is the place to eat. The service is impeccable, the food is almost all made from scratch in-house, and the dessert oh-my-god! Some of the best Tiramisu you will ever taste. I went to Casalinga for lunch one day, and on the lunch buffet were fresh made, piping hot dishes, even included pizza! I'm talking meatballs, chicken parm, chicken scalipini, pastas, cold pastas...all made from scratch! After that lunch, I've been going there ever since. I even held a corporate lunch function there that went off with a bang. The friendly staff took care of my clients like they were their own. I would definitely recommend this place for all meals, from lunch to dinner, for corporate functions, to wedding rehearsal dinners, this place is great. I also just found out that they started doing wine and dinner tastings on Wednesday nights! Something I most definitely will have to check out in the near future. If you enjoy Italian food the way it was intended to be made, then this is Raleigh's only option!
