I took my son to see Dr. Nisha Mandaliya in Aug of 2011. She told me that he needed two of his primary teeth ( his pre molars) extracted due to very large cavities and another tooth needed to have two surfaces filled. She showed me the radio graph quickly and waved her pencil around the "" cavity"". She was very inconsiderate with how she delivered this horrifying information. Thank God I have my Dental Assistant Certification!! I took a two semester coarse in dental radiology. This provided limited knowledge compared to someone who has had to complete Dental school. With my limited knowledge, I could see that something was very wrong. I took my son to a trusted Dentist who I had once worked for several counties away. He was horrified. My son had ZERO cavities!!!!!!!!! We documented the whole case with pictures and radio graphs. We included Heartlands radio graphs and estimate receipt of intended procedure. I turned this information to The Indiana Dental Association. In my OPINION, and in the opinion of many Doctors of Dentistry that I have spoken to, This is a for-profit business preforming unnecessary procedures. I hate to imagine the children who were not as lucky as my son. I have assisted with countless extractions. I can't imagine wanting to inflict the level of pain and fear that accompany this procedure on a patient who doesn't need it . Heartless Crossing dental Care Camby Indiana
