My teenaged daughter has been involved with various DCTA programs for a few years. She is not a ""theater kid;"" just one who enjoys having new and varied experiences. 100% of our experience there has been positive and enjoyable. The stage-presence and confidence my daughter gained while performing onstage as The Caterpillar in ""Alice in Wonderland"" was amazing - not an easy thing to instill in teen-aged girls- as well as being just plain FUN!! I HIGHLY recommend ANY program at the DCTA. Its director is innovative and caring which trickles down to a passionate and involved faculty. The classes are varied and intriguing enough to keep anyone happy for years!
