Review content:
My gf and I literally just purchased our first bowling balls and bag a few hours ago, and I couldn't wait to come home to write a review. I rarely write reviews, but this is very well deserved. We've been bowling off and on for several years but have always settled for the measly house balls. We realized how important it is to have your own custom ball for consistency as well as progress, but we never got around to getting our own. My performance was all over the place with scores as low as 80 to just below 200. Having our own ball was not only the right decision, going to Ronnie was the best decision. Just as we stepped in the door, we were greeted by the man himself. Ronnie is a very well-mannered, humble, and helpful man. He took care of my gf first, got her the perfect ball, fitment, drilling, feel, and engraving. He let her roll her new ball across the floor of his store as many times necessary to make sure it was all perfect. While I was waiting, another gentleman walked into the store. He appeared to be a regular of Ronnie's. We got to chitchatting and turns out he drove all the way from Baytown! ""Well worth the drive,"" he said and claimed Ronnie was the best in town after testing out others around the city. ""He nails the drilling for me every time. I tell him the bowling alley or lane conditions and what I want, he does it right the first time."" As for me, I walked in with the mentality of browsing. But due to Ronnie's selection, prices, and personal service, I became more than ready to purchase from him. Not only that, we were more than happy to support a local business. We spent well over an hour in his store, and it was worth every minute. He answered all our questions and gave his additional input. There was one ball that I've been eyeing after looking online. He had the same one in stock, and his overall price was better with his awesome service to boot. Of course, he sized and fitted with the perfect drilling for me before I was rolling it to him across the store. We also purchased shoes for my gf and a bowling rolling bag for both our balls. The whole time we never felt pressured or anything of that sort and felt very comfortable. We couldn't have been happier. I highly recommend his service to any bowler: beginner, advanced, or in between. Ronnie will take care of you.
