Review content:
In May 2007, my husband and I needed to buy a car for him to get back and forth to work. We were referred to Xtreme Auto, hearing that they could get us a good deal. We went down there, and we also dealt with Javier. He pulled the same stunt on us that ""I could put you in a newer car for less miles for the same amount down."" We were looking at a Ford Ranger, but he talked us into looking at an '03 Pontiac Sunfire with only 40,000 miles on it. We test drove it and to make a long story short, we bought it. It was also a hassle for us to get financed, taking forever and sending it through many different banks. Turns out, we have already put nearly $3000 into repairs on the car! That's over HALF of what the retail value of the car is! When we complained to them when we first started having problems, they said it wasn't their responsibility. That we bought the car ""as is."" It's like they do whatever they can to sell the car, then we're stuck with the lemon. It's not fair. I've emailed an attorney for advice. This is ridiculous. I'm about sick of throwing money into a car that keeps messing up. Carfax said it has 14 different reports on the darn thing. And we know it's been wrecked, but they didn't tell us that at the dealer. We found out later. Shady people! They should be shut down.
