great dealer 2/3/2011

i had been looking for a used dodge Cummings 4x4 and finally found one at extreme auto so i pulled on the lot and went inside it was early morning and there was a very heavy frost on the windshield and i was greeted by Moustapha LO i told him what i was interested in and he gets a dealer tag and the keys scrapes the frost off the windshield was very courteous the diesel engine started right up and purred like a kitten so i took it for a test drive and told him while i was gone to drive my old f-350 7.3 diesel anyway they wanted to well i was impressed with the dodge and come off my test drive and we started to negotiate long story short he was very easy to work with and met my terms and we traded when i got hom i discovered it didn't have a spare tire and called him back and he told me he would locate one to call him the next day well i didn't call for a week and he said he had located me one and told me to pick it up whenever i was ready so i picked it up the next day and i informed him that the fuel gauge didn't work and he said when i get it fixed to bring him the bill now don't no one say that is not service after the sale and the are crooks and are hard to deal with because i had the best experience i ever had in trading autos thanks Moustapha and Extreme Auto more

Good Experience! 7/10/2010

My girlfriend needed a good car after hers was wreaked. We saw the ads and after going to their lot after hours to see what they had, we went during the day to talk business. They wern't busy at all an only had one salesman and a manager on duty. We told them what we was looking for and they let us drive (3) cars without running our credit or anything! The salesman didn't even go with us! We felt at ease from the start! He didn't seemed annoyed or anything when we asked to drive another and another car. We left without buying that day. My girl was so impressed with the way we were treated we went back the next day to buy. She got bad credit and was approved fairly fast. We haggled until we got the price and payments we wanted. We left in a nice 2007 Fusion loaded! Low miles and everything! We haven't had the first trouble out of the car and we have had it for a few months now. We will go back when it's time for me to get a car! Pros: Friendly and treated us okay! Not ""too"" pushy! Cons: Not a huge selection! more

Xtreme Auto Sales 9/18/2008

...Xtreme Auto in Knoxville,Tn is one of the worst places I have heard of. After calling and getting all the info I could, and being assured we could get a car with no credit and 500 down, we go over to talk and look at cars. Well, their commercials are misleading. We were taken out back and given a choice of 3 vehicles I would not trust to go around the corner! Were not even qualified to look at the cars out front on the lot. Say what you mean on your commercials and quit misleading people who have no credit or bad credit and need a car. Cons: Advertising is misleading more

best car dealership 4/10/2008

In October of 2007 I was needing a car to get to my job and after visiting all the dealerships in the knoxville area a friend finally referred me to xtreme auto where I delt with Javier Cisneros. I told him what I was looking for and he was able to put me on a nice car even though I don't have a good credit, and the car has not given me any thouble at all. Javier was very polite, as well as the rest of the people who work there and I will definitely go back to them when i need another car, and refer friends to them, I was very satisfied with their service. And for those people who are writing bad reviews, if you know that you have a bad credit don't blame it on the sales person if you can not afford something better. more

I recently purchased a vehicle at xtreme auto my credit was in poor shape my salesperson ""nathan widmer"" told me he could get anyone financed no matter what their credit was like. well he was correct my credit was horrible and he got me financed for a 2005 chevy impala with only 45,000 miles . it was a great experience compared to my previous experiences with otherdealerships. i wont mention any names. i would strongly recommend xttreme auto if you are in need for a car. ask for nathan he was very helpfull and caring. great experience...... more

good experience 12/18/2007

i was shopping around for a different vehicle so i came upon this ad for extreme auto. \r i went down there and i was surprised at there prices i mean they had some excellent deals\r after looking at a 99 silverado i decided on an 01 dodge ram extended cab it s really a sharp \r truck . my salesman name was nick he was very helpful and let me pick myself with no \r pressure. i got the truck i wanted at a reasonable price. it is a little high in miles but hasn't\r shown any signs of any problems. i was in and out in about 1.5 - 2 hours picked my truck \r out and drove away i was a little disappointed in the offer of 5 dollars worth of fuel to get me started\r he said thats all he was allowed to give so i chuckled and told him to keep it but seriously \r i sent a coworker up there and he bought a jeep cherokee it also is still running strong and he \r said that his experience was good as well so keep up the good work nick \r \r ed Pros: completely satisfied more

Xtreme Auto is horrible! NEVER buy from them! 11/20/2007

In May 2007, my husband and I needed to buy a car for him to get back and forth to work. We were referred to Xtreme Auto, hearing that they could get us a good deal. We went down there, and we also dealt with Javier. He pulled the same stunt on us that ""I could put you in a newer car for less miles for the same amount down."" We were looking at a Ford Ranger, but he talked us into looking at an '03 Pontiac Sunfire with only 40,000 miles on it. We test drove it and to make a long story short, we bought it. It was also a hassle for us to get financed, taking forever and sending it through many different banks. Turns out, we have already put nearly $3000 into repairs on the car! That's over HALF of what the retail value of the car is! When we complained to them when we first started having problems, they said it wasn't their responsibility. That we bought the car ""as is."" It's like they do whatever they can to sell the car, then we're stuck with the lemon. It's not fair. I've emailed an attorney for advice. This is ridiculous. I'm about sick of throwing money into a car that keeps messing up. Carfax said it has 14 different reports on the darn thing. And we know it's been wrecked, but they didn't tell us that at the dealer. We found out later. Shady people! They should be shut down. more

WARNING!! These people LIE to you!! 11/19/2007

I went to Xtreme Auto to look at cars. After running mine and my mom's credit, the salesman I was working with, Javier Cisneros, assured us he could put me in any car on the lot for $1000 down. We went back a week later to see what cars, if any, could be financed with only $500 down. He showed us several cars to choose from, again assuring us we were approved. We came back from test driving a 1998 Maxima, and were ready to sign all the paperwork to get that car. He then asked us if we would be interested in a newer car with less miles; he said he could ""work out a deal"" to be able to only pay the $500 down and still get a newer car (a 2006 Chevy Cobalt or a Pontiac G6). So we sat in his office for 2 and a half hours, waiting on him to complete our paperwork. After about an hour and a half, we asked if we could come back the next Monday to finish up the paperwork since it was taking so long. He assured us that he was almost done. About an hour later, he then tells us our debt to income ration was too high. This is something he could have told us on our first visit. He said he would run our offer through a few more banks on Monday and see if he could get an approval (But seeing how he had alread approved us a week before, this did not make sense.) Monday rolls around, and I call Javier back and he then tells me they couldn't finance me at all because I was showing a recent repo on my credit report, which is totally not true. When I pressed him for details on this ""repo"" he said he didn't have any details. I pulled my credit report from online and there was no repo on it; I called my current finance company that I have my current car financed and they assured me it has not been repoed. I explained this to Javier but he was content to lie to my face about it when I confronted him on his error. \r Do not ever buy a car from them! They are crooks!! Buyer Beware! And to top it off, Javier tried to sell me a ragged out Sunfire with 155, 000 miles! Ughhhhhhhh! Cons: The salespeople are liars. more

DON'T go 2 Extreme Auto unless U want a Xtreme car repair bill!! 7/9/2007

I bought a 1999 car from Extreme Auto in June 2007. I loved the look of the car, but as I have been shown. LOOKS CAN BE DECEIVING!! I should have just canceled the deal when the manager was rude but I decided to overlook it because it was just the car my daughter was looking for. After signing all rights away concerning holding them liable for anything, I drove the car away. On the way home after driving 7 miles the check engine light came on. I then took it to a reputable authorized dealer with a service department. They told me that more than likely the place I bought it from was resetting the check engine light with a odb2 scanner because the place to plug it in was loose and open and the fact that after driving such a short distance it went on. I have already put $1000 in repairs into the car with almost $3000 still to get done on it. I went into buying a used car with knowing I would have to put some repairs into it, but not to the extent that I have to. This place is awful and does not care what they have to do to sell a car. I let them know that I was buying this car for my daughter who had cancer last year and is now in remission. She had wanted a car like this for the longest. I told them I was looking for a good car for her to drive back and forth to college. Extreme Auto are heartless shishters!! more
