Businiess name:  Egl Properties Management

Review content:
I once considered working with EGL Properties to help manage my properties but I found my interactions with them to be less than appealing. First, even after I specifically told them what I wanted in terms of services they tried to convince me to add on the services I didn't want. What's with that? Second, I also realized from their agreements and other paperwork that if you are a ""small"" customer they will still present the same charges and fees as if you are a ""big"" customer. As most real estate experts should tell you, there usually is significantly less work involved in managing, for example, a single family house than an apartment building. EGL properties doesn't really seem to provide flexibility for differences like this which is bad news for new and early property owners. If you are a more experienced property owner, you will probably discover that hiring your own managers will tend to be more cost effective than having EGL properties take a cut from your rent collection. In conclusion, I would like to stress that this is only my opinion. I just wanted to give a warning to prospective clients to exercise due diligence and rely on their common sense. I would also agree with the comment made by ""kp"" that the five star comments are highly suspicious because let's be honest, who in the world is that excited about a property management company? Come on. Remember to be smart and verify the facts. Good Luck. Pros: Website Cons: Conflict of Interest, Bundling Services
