We went as a couple during Restaurant Week. As we arrived early, we sat at the nice, small bar. I reviewed the wine list, which was pretty fairly priced for such an upscale restaurant. The selection wasn't as deep as one might expect but there were certainly many terrific choices at fair prices.\r \r At the appointed time, the hostess sat us promptly. The crowd was having a good time and the volume of conversation was at an active buzz. We opted for 4 courses with wine pairings. I loved my pork belly appetizer and my date loved her melon carpaccio. Some of the wines were a bit ""pedestrian"" for such a fine restaurant, but tasted fine. What I mean is that it would have been nice if they had tried a little harder to serve wines that weren't widely available, everyday wines. The suggested wine pairings were pretty well thought out. \r For entrees we had the steak and the salmon - both very tasty. The desserts were excellent as well. I loved my almond panna cotta - understated, not too sweet. She loved her chocolate mousse, which was more like a chocolate cake.\r Bijoux also provided an extra course at the beginning and at the end of the meal so it was more like 6 course. Service was very competent and unobtrusive. Overall it was a very enjoyable dining experience. Pros: Beautiful setting, excellent service, refined food Cons: Expensive
