It was horrible. My date and I sat down and immediately realized we had come to the wrong place. We had met another couple in line who had never been to the Clinton St. Theater, they were easy to spot as they weren't 90 lb's overweight covered in makeup with dyed hair, all four of us left with the same angry disgusted expression after realizing we'd wasted $16 and an evening at this foul hole in the wall. Consider it like trying to watch a film surrounded by 7 yearolds screaming out stupid comments/advice to the characters. To get an idea what I'm talking about find a couple particularly low brow Youtube videos, get someone with a really obnoxious voice to yell out all the inane comments everyone posts directly behind your head, while you are trying to enjoy a movie. That's what this is like. There was one woman in our showing who managed to yell out something completely mind numbing after every sentence in the movie. I couldn't even enjoy the film, or the half-assed acting. It was really more three-quarter assed acting because that's how much of the pale flabby posteriors the actors wobble around the stage displaying. The absolute worst part about this experience besides not being able to see the movie at all, enjoy the music of a rock opera at all, having to listen to horrendous pork beasts bellowing all night, was the lack of clothes on the aesthetically challenged actors. This venue is like a retreat for morbidly obese alternakids to run around naked/perform lapdances (this actually happened as part of the ""performance"") on stage. I left feeling nauseated, embarrassed that I'd brought my date there, and tense. Very tense, this was the kind of place where I was constantly on edge because everyone around me was acting in a way that causes me to grind my teeth in annoyance. Honestly a waste of a perfectly good evening. BEWARE I hear the Rocky Horror Picture Show is even worse. Pros: They are playing Repo! Cons: Morbidly Obese Nudists on the stage.
