I'm from San Diego, CA, so when I moved to Orange County, I was really disappointed with the results of the several hair salons I visited. I found myself driving to San Diego every 6 weeks just to get my highlights re-touched, a trim and my track extentions tightened because I failed to find a hair salon that could equal my expectations. Well, I happened to drive by the salon one wednesday evening, and if it weren't for their bright, green sign, I would have never noticed a hair salon existed there. It's very low key to the public eye, yet well know to anyone who is familiar with great, low-profile salons. They were busy the night I walked in, which happened to be at 6:30 pm (they close wed. & thurs. at 8 pm), and I was greeted by a genuine, friendly staff that tried to accommadate my every need. Jackie was my stylist and I absolutely LOVE my hair!!! She was awesome! Great personality, and great stylist. She even suggested an alternative to track extentions, which was more comfortable. I have been very satisfied with my NXS hair extensions. If ANYONE is searching for a comfortable, relaxed setting with a staff whom is truly skilled and friendly, I defintely recommend Urban Roots Salon.
