Review content:
I went into Body Tonic because of persistent lower back pain and it has made my lower back pain nearly non-existent. I started with the introductory 2 privates for $99 and took the great Emily T. I then bought a ten pack of privates, which gives you a slight discount per session over the regular rate. They also offer classes for $20 for an hour or $10 for a half-hour as well as semi-privates which significantly reduce the cost. When my physical therapist recommended pilates, I had no clue what pilates was and thought it seemed too expensive. In my opinion it is much more valuable than physical therapy and is worth the cost. It is expensive but for someone like me with chronic lower back pain it has been amazing and has helped me like nothing has before, including chiropractic care or physical therapy. The instructors are down to earth and so nice and the studio could not be more pleasant. Although I felt extremely awkward and out of place at first (I am a 28 year old man), those feelings quickly went away. I have been doing it for two months and you can see the difference in my stomach and my back pain is so much better. A nice thing too is that you can make all your appointments online or over the phone with the amazingly friendly desk staff. Every teacher has been unique and great in their own way, but I cannot recommend Emily T., Traci, and Jenifer (the owner) enough. Pros: Skill of Teachers, Atmosphere, Great for Begginers
