My initial experience with this store was good as the associate was very nice & polite about helping me get my items into the store. Other than that I have nothing else good to say about my shipping experience. I packed and shipped a multitude of boxes as I was preparing to move cross country. I made the necessary disclosure of contents and purchased additional insurance based on the contents. I spent over $500 shipping my belongings. When some of the items arrived they were obviously damaged. The driver heard the rattle in the package & immediately informed me how to handle my claim. I took pictures, saved the container & notified the store. The package was insured for $300, my claim was for less than $100 as all the items weren't damaged. The store got all my info & told me I would get a check in the mail. Once I never received the check I began calling. Every time I called they knew exactly who I was & why I was calling, I was told we're working on it, we'll call you. Finally the last time I called I was told the claim was denied because a) I packed the items myself b) the weight of the pkg was unacceptable. Both of these things were disclosed at the time of shipping & they gladly accepted the money I paid for additional insurance. Why allow someone to purchase additional ins if based on your standards you're not willing to pay out on a claim? I will not ever ship through UPS again, very disappointed with the experience!
