I pulled up to get an oil change and a car wash, I informed the attendant there that the last time I was in here they put 10W 40 oil in my car instead of the manufacturer's required 5W 40. Get this.........the attendant ask me how many miles are on my car and when I told him over 100K he informed me ""that's why we put in the 10W 40 and not charge you for the upgrade"".........Who is this guy tring to BS......... only an engineer. I wonder how many car warranties this guy has invalidated. I would think that if the manufacturer wanted 10W 40 oil to be used in the car after 100K miles they would have put it in the owner's manual and specifications.
