I haven't ever posted a comment about a business, but I felt it was necessary because I have to say that I dissagree with Kim2206's comment. I was a new patient to Serenity Dental about 3 weeks ago (end of April, 2010) for a cosmetic consult (I need my top front teeth capped) and cleaning appt and I thought my cosmetic options were explained thoroughly. I think you didn't do your job to ask enough questions at your appointment. I also asked about Lumineers and Dr Ellie explained that it is a name brand of veneers. I didn't know there was a difference of ""caps"" for teeth--I assumed that's what I needed. I also asked about bonding, but it might last as long or look as natural as the veneers and I don't want to deal with repairs or replacement on my front teeth. I felt she is very knowledgeable in cosmetic dentistry and she showed me pictures of her own work. I wasn't really excited about driving to the lab for color matching, but I understand why it's important--if I'm paying that much, I want them perfect. Overall, I was very pleased with my appointment and have already referred 2 coworkers and my sister who have already made appointments for their cleanings. Pros: Very nice and knowledgable dentist & staff, clean office Cons: freeway construction, no sign on professional building
