I write on behalf of a second language learner who was taken advantage of at Acura of Las Vegas. The facts are as follows: Mom purchased a car from Acura of Las Vegas six years ago. Having an established relationship with them, she returned to the dealership looking to purchase a car for $36,000 (no more than $38,000 out the door). During the negotiations, a salesman handed her a slip of paper with the amount of $38,054.10 on it. Mom initialed it, as she was under the impression this was the out the door price for Acura. She put the $5,000.00 deposit on her Wells Fargo Visa and proceeded to sign the paperwork, finalizing the purchase of the car late SATURDAY night, SUNDAY Mom looked over the paperwork and realized Acura charged her $42,000.00 for the car
