Review content:
I've been an avid user of Dial7 for several years... Averaging 3-5 trips per month.. Average fair ~$100. You never knew what you were going to get from the drivers, but I had Dial7 programmed into my favorites and it had just become easy and routine Today I booked a 4pm pick-up on 19th Street to catch a business flight from LGA. I got held up trying to get out of the office and arrived downstairs at 4:05. As soon as we sat down in the car the driver, enraged, began yelling at my colleague and I about a ticket he had just received for leaving the car in a no standing zone. We apologized and explained we were only 5 minutes late. He became enraged, yelling at us from the front seat. ""I can't afford this ticket, are you going to pay this ticket!"" I asked the driver to let us out of the car if he intended to berate us all the way to the airport. He clearly he did intend to yell at us because he pulled over and continued to yell some more as we took our own luggage out of the trunk. A call to customer service yielded the following exchange. ""Well you have to understand the driver's point of view, you were late."" Me, ""Less than 5 minutes, and we apologized, but he was totally out of line."" Him, ""What do you want me to do?... You want me to fire him? What am I supposed to do? He has to pay that ticket."" Goodbye Dial7.... and Good Riddance. Pros: Cheap Cons: Rude - Unprofessional - Poor Sense of Direction
