I called to reserve a truck a month in advance to secure the day and time (early morning) I wanted. The reservations people are really friendly and professional. Unfortunately my truck broke down on the way to my apartment the day of the move and of course I was frustrated and annoyed that this moving company had no contingency plan. They did manage to squeeze me in to a 3pm slot however the movers didn't show up till 5pm. The 2 movers I had were very unprofessional, dragging their feet, chatting in the truck, SLOW. Even though GPS was in the truck it took the movers 1 hour to drive 5 miles from my apartment to the new one. In the end it took 7 hours to move a 2 bedroom apartment. I was extremely unhappy with the service and to top it off I was over charged by nearly $250. The reason I'm rating this company a 3 and not a 1 is bc when I called the company the next day to get a refund the guy I spoke with was very responsive and reviewed the paperwork and realized I was in fact overcharged and a refund was in order. I will check in a few days to make sure the refund went through.
Pros: Relatively cheap labor by the hour
Cons: Potentially unethical, unprofessional movers
