Review content:
The atmosphere at Riptide is awesome. I was last there when it was snowing, and I still feel like I'm dining just off the ocean in the south somewhere. The food is amazing, and we both had plenty for leftovers on our dinner plates. They also offer a kick-@$$ lunch special: $10 for a salad or soup, one of 5-6 sandwiches, a n/a drink, and dessert. Can't beat it! They also accept the restaurant com gift certificates, which means you can dine for pennies on the dollar and eat like a king!Every time I've been there my server has been great. She's known what drinks pair well with what entrees and helped pick between main courses based upon my tastes, displaying a thorough knowledge of the menu. To the ""sub-par service"" comment: you can't blame that on the establishment; it's always hit-or-miss wherever you go. I agree with the other reviewer who said to dine on the water, too. If weather permits, it's just one more treat to add to the great experience you'll have at Riptide.
