Review content:
First of all, I normally don't take the time to write a review on a business. My experience here was so bad I actually wanted to take the time to warn other people to look elsewhere. I'm not even a member, but I was an interested customer considering the possibility of giving my money to this business. You think the people running the business would be somewhat excited to see a new prospect willing to hand over their hard earned dollars to them. I was, for lack of a better term, ""greated"" at the door by some guy working the front desk, later I noticed he has a dip of chew in his mouth. mmmm. The conversation went as follows: Rocky Balboa: ""What do you need boss!"" (boss.... real professional, we're off to a good start) Me: I'm interested in finding out more about your gym"" Rocky "" What do you want to know?"" Me: ""Well, I'm interested in becoming a member, what can you tell me?"" (I'm basically saying give me your sales pitch and tell me why I should come here) Rocky "" Well, we have everything you need and we're about $30/mo"" (Without asking me any questions, not even my name, how would he know what I need. Didn't bother showing me around to prove that to me) Me: "" Do you mind if I look around"" Rocky "" Go for it dude, look around"" (Dude?) As I walk around I notice a couple D-bags in tank tops, sizing themselves in the mirror, and appear to have a chip on their shoulder about an outsider in the gym while they're trying to workout. I come back to the front desk. Me: "" Well could you tell me a little more about the membership rates?"" Rocky "" It's 30 bucks a month"" Me: O.k...... Rocky: ""Just come back when you're ready. When you're ready you're ready dude."" Me: ""Goodbye!"" Final Impression: Meathead gym, with meathead staff that don't know how to communicate with people. If you need a dip after your workout, perhaps you can get one from Rocky at the front desk. I would not want to step foot in this gym, much less pay them a dime to do so.
