We've been going here for a few years, but suspect some ownership has changed. Today we used a Restaurant coupon which said a 20% tip would be added to the bill - that is ok. Only 4 out of 5 of us ordered meals, since my daughter doesn't like Indian. So she played with her ipod and had a glass of water. When the bill came it was way too high and we resisted the pressure to quickly pay until we got to the bottom of the surprising cost. The server said he added an additional 15% service fee because we were 5 people (even though 4 of us ordered)! Nowhere does it state on their menu that this will be done. He was so unattentive throughout the meal that he really didn't deserve the 20% tip, but he forced us to pay a total of 35% tip! He said he would give us a discount 'next time' to which we answered there would NOT be a next time . . . there are far too many other Indian restaurants to test out who may want our business. Funny thing is, we were the only patrons in the store at the time. Now we know why. ""Take care of your customers or someone else will!"" was the old FedEx motto that applies here. Stay away!
