We saw this restaurant after checking for Indian restaurants while staying at universal studios. We visited on a Friday evening and the food was excellent. We had appetizers and an entree. Wow, what an authentic indian taste. After trying so many indian restaurants across US, and canada we found this one very close to what you get in india. Had samosa which tasted so real and perfect in spice unlike many restaurants which have just mashed potatoes with peas. Then we ordered Chilli chicken, Panner Makhni and some naans.thay have also some indian beer like TAJ ,KINGFISHER, HAYWARDS 5000 oh god my hubby he love that all beer we stay in orlando one week we everyday eat food here it was awesome food and nice docer..... They were perfectly made and had true indian spice level. Food is perfectly fine with the taste we get. Service is perfect and quick. If you are in and around Orlando do try this restaurant. we go back there again when we go back disney world orlando usa.... more

BEAUTIFUL RESTAURANT Best Indian restaurant I have been to, and let me tell you I have been to lots of indian restaurant in, colorado, New York and canada. The food is amazing and the service excellent. ,I ate here twice now. once it was very busy even on weekdays it was packed and still the service was very attentive, .The waiter was very friendly and the chef was superb! we order keema mater tadka dal lamb biryani and some naan ,purri, cheese naan its so yummy oh my god i can't forget that stil and some indian beer ( kingfiser) my hubby he love it.. The food was tremendously tasty and the venue was very intimate and great. We will be seeing them soon Highly recommended! INDIA PALACE REASTURANT ITS THE BEST IN ORLANDO!!!!!!!!!!!! more

We visited India Palace this month with our seven guests from vermont. We were greeted warmly by the Manager who made us feel at home and gave us a nice table that seated all of us close to each other. After talking to the friendly manager we ordered appetizers; cheese pakora, vegetable samosa and mirchi pakira. And for the main course we ordered chilli chicken, mixed tandoori platter, lamb rogan josh, tadka dal and bhindi masala. Then we ordered aloo nan, bullet nan and garlic nan.that was awesome The food had the right content of spices and we loved the creamy essence. We got complimentary pickle and lime. food and service was excellent .We had a blast at this restaurant and this made our Orlando trip memorable.? more

Awesome restaurant....best Indian food in town! orlando has many Indian Restaurants, but having a restaurant that is classy and yet reasonable priced for the exclusive service remains india Palace! Waiters were so attentive and patient with each of us, the food was succulent, the overall ambient had a traditional feeling yet with a modern touch. The variety of food is so good, veg and non veg. .The food was delicious... the chicken tikka is especially to die for. We asked for ""mild"" but next time we're going for medium. I love naan and their naan was deelicious. Definitely coming back. Also, try the mango lassi... it's a classic and is always good for taming the spiciest of foods (so I have learned through my Indian food trials.) I highly recommend this place.......... more

very good food in orlando area The lunch special thali at India Palace is one of the best its very good deal 8.95 thali comes with rice pudding, dal makhni,naan,rice,raita and chose one any curry frm lunch menu. I'm no Indian food expert but the flavors and spice level here are perfect, not too spicy and not bland. I've tried most all of their dinner items and have never found them to be any less than great. The food is always hot and fresh and the naan has never been stale. They have a variety of vegetarian dishes as well as chicken, lamb, and sharimp. They also have a couple of desserts. i love rasmali yummy. Oddly enough, they have pretty good chai ( tea) as well. Must try dishes are the chicken tikka masala, paneer, and an Indian version of creamed spinach. try food india palace who loves indian food..... more

We've been going here for a few years, but suspect some ownership has changed. Today we used a Restaurant coupon which said a 20% tip would be added to the bill - that is ok. Only 4 out of 5 of us ordered meals, since my daughter doesn't like Indian. So she played with her ipod and had a glass of water. When the bill came it was way too high and we resisted the pressure to quickly pay until we got to the bottom of the surprising cost. The server said he added an additional 15% service fee because we were 5 people (even though 4 of us ordered)! Nowhere does it state on their menu that this will be done. He was so unattentive throughout the meal that he really didn't deserve the 20% tip, but he forced us to pay a total of 35% tip! He said he would give us a discount 'next time' to which we answered there would NOT be a next time . . . there are far too many other Indian restaurants to test out who may want our business. Funny thing is, we were the only patrons in the store at the time. Now we know why. ""Take care of your customers or someone else will!"" was the old FedEx motto that applies here. Stay away! more

We reached there around 10:45pm, door sign said 'OPEN'. After entering the gentle?man said only 'Carry Out'. To order proper quantity of bread/Chapati we asked the size to get an idea. They did not show, so we asked if it is comparable to the nearby Indian restaurant.
