Just left Fordham Dermatology after walking out. My appointment was at 2:30. I got there at about 2:25. When I got there, there was only one person waiting. I signed in, which all the names before mine were scratched out so I assumed I should be next. The receptionist asked if I was self-pay and I told her yes. A few people came in after me and they saw a doctor before me. At 3:10 I asked the receptionist if a doctor could see me soon. She simply said ""I think there is someone in all three of the rooms"". That isn't what I asked her but okay. By 3:25 I was fuming because no one explained to me what the hold up was and no one assured me that someone was coming or even apologized for the long wait. So I got up and left. I understand that the appointment time they give you is often not the actual time you will see someone, but an hour wait is unreasonable. Especially on a Friday afternoon. I will just find another dermatologist that can plan his/her appointments better rather than overbooking. Cons: LOOOOOOOOONG WAIT
