Review content:
The downtown Standard is a great hotel. Valet, bar drinks, room service, and the restaurant can be a little pricey, but the room rates are relatively low so it balances out. The decor of the hotel is very cool and the rooms are very modern. And while the reception staff are not overly friendly, they have always been cordial and professional. We often go to the Rooftop Bar and the bartenders, wait staff, and security team are always good to us. One thing to note though is that this definitely seems like a party hotel (at least on the weekends). Every time we've stayed, there are always many parties going on in the rooms around us. We don't mind this at all though and if you don't either, then definitely stay there. It is a ton of fun!
