Review content:
This specific Carbone's on Randolph and Davern is family owned and run. I've been to the other places listed as Carbone's ... but THIS is the one to go to. The atmosphere is family oriented. The service is fast. The pizza is delivered to your table very quickly and HOT. I love their pizza .. it is the best in the cities. (I would have said Green Mill on Hamline in Saint Paul 30 years ago ... when it was family owned and tasted great .. but it is not the same anymore.) Carbone's is very reasonable pricing. There is plenty of great tasting cheeses and ample tomato sauce. The ingredients are all fresh .. and taste it. You can order a plain cheese pizza and go out happy. Or oder as many seperate ingredients as you want to. Either way, it is GREAT pizza. I grew up in this neighborhood, and as far as I am concerned, this place is a hidden gem. You've got to try it out. It is vastly underrated.
Pros: The Carbone's at this location is the best pizza in the Twin Cites. A hidden gem.
Cons: Parking can be difficult at times. Friday and Saturday nights, you might wait a bit longer for the pizza to get to your table.
