Review content:
Stopped-in at the new location at the Northlake Mall for lunch. My wife tried Firebirds Chardonnay and the Chicken Penne; I tried the Red and the French Dip. My wife enjoyed the White although the Red was a little too peppery for my taste but there was a sizeable winelist to choose from. Lunch portions were large with enough of the Penne to bring home for the both of us later (plenty of chicken in the dish), the sauce had a subtle spicey bite to it which was good. The French Dip was enough that I had to pass on the dessert (although I really wanted to try the Creme Brule). The waiters were knowledgeable about the dishes and the chef recommended the proper way to reheat the Penne when we asked. Kids welcomed but probably not the place if they like to run around or be restless. Pros: quick seating, refined dining, leisurely atmosphere
