Review content:
I had my house sitter bring my I-Doodle (Irish Setter Doodle) for a trim to Laund-Ur-Mutt when I went on vacation. My dog has beautiful hair to the degree that everywhere she goes people stop and ask her breed. When I returned home I was horrified to look at my dog. She was completely sheared (which is very bad for dogs) and looked as though she was a cancer victim. She looked horrible! I was so upset and called several times and no one called back. I went in to the store and was told that someone had tried to call, but I never received any message. The only explanation that I was given was that her hair was matted--no apology, no acknowledgment that a phone call should have been made before she was sheared. Neighbors have also reported bad experiences with grooming (bleeding paws). Mistakes happen--how retail establishments handle mistakes is what differentiates good businesses from bad. I was charged $57 for this debacle. Do not go here--it was a miserable experience from beginning to end.
