Having obtained my black belt from US Kenpo Kai in 1997, I can first handedly say that the training and philosophy at this association will enhance your lives physically, mentally and spiritually. In today's unforgiving world, one must have the proper confidence and discipline to achieve the levels of success that allow us to live rewarding and healthy lives. Sifu Urban and the US Kenpo Kai team instilled these, and other positive traits in my life that have allowed me to procure nothing less than greatness as a member of society and within my own family. American Kenpo is well known as one of the most formidable self defense systems in the world. The reality of our world is that there are many who turn to pain and violence to benefit themselves. Although avoidance is the first rule of self defense, I've encountered situations where it was impossible to do so, and my Kenpo training is what has allowed me to keep myself and my family safe on more than one occasion. Today, I am a better person b/c of my friends and family at US Kenpo Kai. I have multiple successful businesses and a love of life. Having exposed myself to a plethora of martial arts from all over the globe, I can honestly say there is nothing out there like American Kenpo. The method of training and its results just after your first few classes are amazing. Whether it's for self defense, health, working out, self-discipline, or any other reason to better yourself, you will find it at US Kenpo Kai. It's one of the most enjoyable experiences of my life that will continue with me forever.
