I personally like a doctor who will tell me what's best for my health, not just what we would all like to hear (you look fabulous, your weight is just fine, etc.).Isn't that what we go to the doctor for in the first place? He stepped into a practice where the OB/GYN had just stopped delivering babies (the previous doctor delivered my first child), and dealing with my secondary fertility problems, along with a never-ending list of weird symptoms, he treated me very kindly, answered all my calls, and fielded all my questions up until the birth of my second child. She's now 21-years-old, and I've been going to Dr. Juncosa ever since. He tells it like it is, and I've always appreciated that. I don't wait hours on end to see him, and the whole process is very quick...but don't mistake that for not caring, because he will sit with you and answer any questions you might have, and address all concerns very patiently, thoroughly, and and with due care. His staff is also very efficient, and promptly return phone calls or have Dr. Juncosa return calls concerning test results and such. I love Dr. Juncosa - he's matter-of-fact, to the point, but also very gentle and caring, and I can only hope his practice outlasts my need for his work.
