I've walked by this place literally hundreds of times, and it was almost always dead. Still, seeing that the Mariners were playing on their t.v. and the place was virtually empty (on a Saturday evening), I decided to sit at the bar and have a drink and an appetizer. Apparently the bartender thought otherwise. I sat patiently while the bartendress and waitress alternately lounged, talked with each other, and basically did very little. All of this while the only people in the place were a couple at the bar and one table of three. I finally leaned over and asked if the bar was open, got a snippy 'yes' response, and then she went back to whatever she was doing. I walked out and visited a place nearby that has good service (note to owner: that's a formulaic response in Belltown, where we have many choices). Pros: Nice ambience, menu looks good Cons: Horrible service at the bar
