Review content:
So, my husband and I went last night to Zapata in downtown Norcross. This ws our first time in the new location. What struck me as soon as we walked in was that the decor had gone down. On P'tree Pkwy they had great little tables, chairs and decoration on the walls. At this new place the tables and chairs were industrial grade cafeteria style. I'm not sure why they didn't transfer their old furniture and decor from the the previous restaurant location but clearly they must have their reasons. The menu looked as if it had changed. They brought s chips & salsa which was something I don't remember from before. It scared me for a minute because I thought ""uh oh"", they've started catering to people who want a regular Mexican ""El Azteca"" dinner. We were ahppy to see our favorites were still on the menu. The Mole is to die for! Do you know how difficult it is to make Mole? And to do it well? It is amazing! The restaurant is one of our favorites. We absolutely love it and will return again and again....I hope that they do upgrade their furniture. It was so much nicer before. Pros: Mole! Cons: Tables and Chairs
