Review content:
What at groovy little place! I say little, because it has the heart and soul of a smaller local eatery, but it is actually huge. It would be a great place to have a party. My whole experience was amazing. The building is beautifully decorated from the lighted tables on the patio to cool baskets hanging from the ceiling. The hostesses were friendly and accommodating. The service was stellar. I felt that our table was the most important one in the restaurant. Several people checked in on us throughout our meal. The food by far was the best part. We started with the tapas favoritas, a special for the night. It had a chicken and chorizo empanada that was to die for, flaky crust with a fruit salsa on top. My mouth is starting to water just thinking about it, yum. We also ordered a pitcher of mango margaritas, which came in the really funky blown glass pitcher. For dinner I had the Steak Acapulco, a tender and flavorful carne asada topped with shrimp and vegetables, it was remarkable. My husband had the fish tacos with jicama coleslaw and said they were delicious as well. For dessert we decided to visit ADios Caf?, another section of the restaurant which was fantastic as well. I think I will review that separately, as it was an experience in and of itself.
