IMPOSSIBLE TO CANCEL. Read the other reviews, they all say the same thing. We should have before we joined. Detailed version below, to keep it short: If you sign up at this gym, DO NOT SIGN A CONTRACT OR GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFORMATION. They will keep charging you. My wife wanted a gym to join why I was stationed in Goose Creek for a few months. She spoke the manager, Oscar, when we walked in. After showing us around, while discussing the contracts he told her that because I was in the military we could get out of the contract when I got orders. LIES! LIES! LIES! I am never this passionate about telling other people about companies but this company is something special. You cannot go into the local gym to cancel. Their head quarters is in Layton, Utah. I have sent 3 different emails through their online cancellation system. They said they could not read the first one, that the .pdf I sent was of poor quality. (The file is saved on my computer. It is perfectly legible.) So I scanned another copy using a higher resolution. Then, they called back saying her name was not on the orders. I explained to them that I am in the Navy, and my wife is not in the Navy and that I had included in the scan a copy of my page 2 which says she is my dependent. Not good enough for them. They told us to call the base and request a copy of orders with her name on it. When my wife said that isn't going to happen, they suggested that we could GET A LAWYER. This is the kind of customer service you can expect from this company. We called back and spoke to someone else. They told us that if you move more than 50 miles from the gym, you can get out of the membership that way. So back to the scanner for email # 3. They called back and guess what!? They said they couldn't read it. I also sent the attachment to another party to verify it is legible. I asked to speak to a manager, after being on hold for 10 minutes I spoke to a female manager named ""Toni"", employee ID # 2233 (I asked). She said they company cannot read them, to try another file format other than .pdf, or we can send a copy via mail. I told her we will be changing the account number of the credit card they have on file, and will be sending in my orders via certified mail. If they send us to collections for an unpaid balance we will be consulting legal assistance. My wife brought this up to the manager she signed up with, Oscar. He cannot do anything for you at the gym, all cancellations are done through headquarters in Utah. Instead, he down plays the difficulties past customers have had in canceling, claiming other people have done it wrong or didn't do this or that. Absolutely ridiculous. Save your money, join another gym.
