I am just a good ole girl who has fallen in LOVE with Indian food. Flavors is close to my job and I have become a regular there in the past year. I think they have a fabulous weekday buffet. Certain items are always featured, (Saag panneer, chicken 65, tandoor chicken), and the rest of the buffet is filled out by rotating items. Since I really like trying new things, this suits me well.
My lunch hour is dependent on my workload, so I have been the first person in the door, and also come in so late I was afraid the line would be shut down. I have eaten here at least once a week for the last year. I have never received or witnessed rude behavior. I usually drink water, and my glass is never empty. They also have a free soda fountain - but you are expected to get your own refills there. It is a buffet, so I am not sure what kind of service the other reviewers expected. I can't say that the manager/owner(?) is the friendliest host - he doesn't gush all over me when I come in - but who wants that anyway? I want a clean restaurant with good food, vast quantities of beverage, and timely delivery of my check. They deliver on my requirements.
I deducted one star because I have never been here on a weekend, or for dinner, or with children, or used the party room. I have seen the restaurant quite busy, but have never witnessed (or heard) any meltdowns by the staff. The bathroom is always clean. The food is good. Don't let the bad reviews scare you. Try it, you might like it.
