Review content:
Merely wanting to tan once, I walked into a Club Tan to check out pricing. I was immediately pushed into a bed (before signing an authorization waiver, I might add) without being offered any sort of eye protection. Upon returning from the bed, I was asked if I would be interested in a membership and how much I would be willing to pay. Having had memberships at previous salons and having paid about $30 for a month of tans, but knowing these beds were slightly more advanced, I told them I would be willing to put out $100. Before I knew it, my credit card had been swiped and I was signing debit authorization forms because I was ""financed"" and had apparently just purchased a package for $599.00! I came back the next day and requested to cancel my membership. While they stated it was my decision, they were incredibly pushy about me keeping it, to the point of being obnoxious and rude. I was also told that I could not cancel in-store, but per the contractual agreement would need to send a letter by Certified Mail stating ""I do not wish to be bound by this contract"" within three days of starting your membership. My letter was sent on the second day and received on the third. The contract also states that should all this be completed, your money will be returned within 15 days. That was now 32 days ago. Despite multiple emails and phone calls (no one answers at their ""Corporate"" office"" I have received no response and no money. I have filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and still have not heard back. I would never recommend this salon to anyone. There are many more companies out there with just as decent equipment, employees that don't bully you, and with corporate offices that are responsive to your needs.
Pros: Hi-tech beds, clean locations
Cons: Swindler's, Cheats, Liars
