Review content:
dao is definitely a no frills restaurant with friendly service that's so efficient you feel slightly rushed. my boyfriend and i ordered pho(noodle soup)and the beef/shrimp combo you self-grill tableside. this is the worse pho i've had. i grew up eating pho and have had it many times eating out. i was surprised that jalapenos(not enough heat) was one of the condiments for this soup. maybe small chilis, but i've never seen jalapenos at any asian restaurants. my boyfriend, who's new to pho, liked the soup so if it's your first time and have no comparisons then i recommend ordering this. if you decide to order a dish that you grill tableside, beware, there is splattering. my boyfriend's white shirt got oil stains. otherwise, it was kinda neat grilling your own food. if you are looking for a cheap eat, then this place is not such a bad choice. Pros: good parking, cheap eat, friendly service Cons: doesn't look clean, bad beer selection, awful decor
